Irish Stammering Association,
I first became a member of the Irish Stammering Association in the late eighties, from very humble beginnings to where the organization is now is down to hard work and dedication from a lot of people over the years.
Today I am an active member if the ISA serving with a very enthusiastic committee who are committed to being a primary source of insights and support for all who are challenged by, or work with people who are challenged by Stammering / Stuttering.
The ISA is a registered charity, it is a community of people who support the stammering/stuttering community, it organises and funds the children’s drama project, the parents support network, support groups and backup for same, young ISA are just some of the fine work which is being carried by the ISA.
The ISA does not run courses on stammering, it is only information and support based, the ISA does not indorse any therapy, treatments, or programmes on stammering / stuttering, all information provided is relevant to the stammering / stuttering community.
Why not become a member of the ISA, I am sure we all have something of value to give regarding our own personal experiences which will be very relevant to fellow members, support groups are a great place to meet and discuss your stammering/stuttering, why not come along, you will be amazed the difference it can make, just to talk, just to listen.
